Here it is. \u00a0I got the author copies of The Wrong Hill to Die On<\/em> from Poisoned Pen Press yesterday. \u00a0It’s always a happy occasion to finally see your work in actual print.<\/p>\n

Until that day, the fact that you have a book coming out is rather surreal. \u00a0This is the longest Alafair book I’ve written, so it’s fatter than any of the others. \u00a0It was a heck of a lot of work, too. \u00a0Finally having it in hand makes it worth\u00a0all\u00a0the toil and trouble. \u00a0Right now I’m in the midst of getting myself ready for the publicity blitz. \u00a0Be sure and check out my events schedule (click the link above), and if I’m going to be in your vicinity, please come by and say hi.<\/p>\n

Wrong Hill<\/em> isn’t officially launched until the first of November, but you can get it from the press Right Now! \u00a0Until it’s available at your local bookstore, or at all the online venues in paper and\/or electronically, you can whet your appetite by clicking on “About This Book”, under the cover thumbnail to the left, where you can read the first chapter.<\/p>\n

Also:<\/strong>\u00a0Poisoned Pen Press is currently offering the one installment of several of their series as FREE ebooks, in hopes that you will enjoy them so much that you\u2019ll want to buy the rest. My first Alafair novel,\u00a0The Old Buzzard Had It Coming<\/em>, was one for many weeks, but\u00a0Amazon changed the price on Buzzard to $2.51 recently. \u00a0<\/em>BUT, now they’re offering the 3rd book, The Drop Edge of Yonder<\/em>, for .99 and i-tunes is giving it away as a free download.<\/strong> \u00a0I can’t keep up. But I’d better post the change. \u00a0Drop Edge<\/em> is just one of many other wonderful mysteries that Poisoned Pen is offering as an inexpensive or free ebook.
